 | Skyview Rocks Glastonbury Festival Glastonbury festival goers have had enough of being up to their knees in mud and rained out. With the help of the Skyview team, this year they have at least been able to prepare for the wet weather. A brand new weather station recently installed is crucial in determining their weekend needs.  | Flying Over the Top of the World Skyview is proud to report that in May '07 a close friend to the company, Giles Cardozo, inventor of the parajet engine, and his fellow pilot Bear Grylls; took off from the small Himalayan village of Pheriche. Their team became the first ever to fly higher than the top of the world in a powered paraglider. One of the main technical challenges was to produce an engine that was light enough to carry and generate enough power to fly in high atmosphere of the Himalaya. Giles said "It felt weird just hanging off a few strings with an engine on your back. It was an incredible experience to be up there and to look down at all those mountains. But I don't think we will ever do this again." |
 | Spinnaker Tower Skyview is excited to announce the installation of a brand new weather monitoring system atop the Spinnaker Tower. Weather data is not only used by the tower but is also sent across Portsmouth to the council; meaning information can be shared throughout the town. |
