![]() | Gardeners' World Live The Gardeners World Live event played host to the Weather Club stand, blooming with gardening and weather-related tips and products to educate gardeners on the importance of weather in garden. Skyview were pleased to lend a helping hand and offer unique weather prizes for the stand's weather competition. Up for grabs is the Professional CM2000 Complete Weather Station. But, don't worry if you miss out on the first place prize as Skyview has provided the Professional Manual Rain Gauge CM1016 for two runner's ups. ![]() | The Science of Gardening The popular Gardener's World programme is to air an episode on Friday 26th November including weather monitoring in the garden. Filmed at presenter Carol Klein's cottage in Devon, Skyview were pleased to loan weather monitoring equipment to the show, including installation, helping keen gardeners understand how to use weather readings from the garden. ![]() | Plain Sailing at Datchet Water Datchet Water Sailing Club hosts many National and International racing fixtures and sailing events, as well as providing year round sailing for all boat classes, so its vital that they have clear and accurate weather data. Recognising this, Skyview installed a robust Weather Station, complete with full online weather reporting via Skylink-Pro for all their members. Weather and forecasting data is available via the club's website to all visitors so that they can make the most of their day on the water. |
![]() | Suffolk Wildlife Trust An exciting joint venture is underway between Skyview and the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. In addition to their weather station, the Lackford Lakes site has Solar Panels & Wind Turbines powering 'Green Batteries' for use in torches on night expeditions. New designs include an additional 'Pond' page for Skylink-pro, showing a cross section of the pond with temperatures at different depths. This will allow for easy comparison of Solar and Temperature readings and bring the data to life for old and young alike. |
