Is your school compatible with Skylink-Pro?


	To run Skylink-Pro you will need: > A Davis weather station either the Vantage Pro2, Vantage Vue or Weather Wizard III > WeatherLink data logger and software > Preferably a broadband internet connection > A PC running Windows 98 or above

Features


			Current weather at your location When you log-on to your website you will immediately see the current weather at your location. You can view information for a wide range of weather parameters. In the centre of the screen is a site map of your exact location; you can zoom out to view other automatic stations in your region or around the UK. Add a web cam so that authorised visitors to your site can see live weather images.


			Compare your weather data You can view your weather data and compare with five other automatic stations; these are stations that are closest to you. Comparisons include wind speed & direction, temperature, humidity and pressure. This will give enjoyable and interesting reading as you can see how weather patterns differ across your region.


			Forecast information for your School The site forecast can be invaluable. It provides and accurate forecast information for your site over the next five days. Television broadcasts can differ from channel to channel, so now you can rely on Skylink-Pro to provide you with the important data you need as part of daily life. Plan school sports days or outdoor P.E. lessons using this feature. The forecasts are updated twice daily to ensure optimum accuracy.


			Historical data Study a range of graphs to see data trends for a specified time period. You can view data for up to the last 30 days for the following parameters: > Temperature and dew point > Wind speed and direction > Rainfall and rain rate > Pressure > UV index & Solar radiation


			Raw data Take a look at your local weather data in its most simple form. Here you can see a table of the past 24 hours of weather information. You can download the data to an Excel spreadsheet format. Using the spreadsheet you can calculate averages and highlight minimum and maximum readings.


			Satellite Images INFRARED Here you can see infrared satellite images for Europe. Colder clouds are shown as whiter shades. The images are update four times a day. The time stamps on the images are in European time (GMT+1). VISIBLE LIGHT Latest NOAA AVHRR satellite imagery - this may or may not include the UK as the four NOAA satellites take a slightly different path across Europe each time they circle the Earth.
