La Crosse Technology & TechnoLine Technical Support
Below is help and answers to questions regarding La Crosse Technology & TechnoLine Wireless Weather Stations. If you have any other questions please email us by clicking on the link provided.
Q. My heavy weather programme has decided the date is February 2036 even though the display on the station is correct! Is there a way to change the records and reset it for the future?
The data is marked with a wrong datestamp because the weather station has problems receiveing the DCF signal. This mostly happens when the station is placed near a computer or other electronic devices which could interfere with the DCF signal. The date that is shown on the display is the same date that will be used for the datapoint in the moment of saving.
If this happens with a WS2300, the data cannot be edited in the heavyweather programme, this can only be done by exporting the data to excel.
If this happens with the heavyweather version that is used for WS 3600, you can edit the data by clicking 3 times on the field you want to edit.
How can i reset MIN/MAX temperature on the computer?
Right click the MIN/MAX value on the Heavy Weather program while your base station is connected to your computer.
Press the clear MIN/MAX details button. The MIN/MAX value will reset to current values, 0.00 or dashes, dependant ont he value. Please note this will also reset the base station.
