 | Your GEOS 11 unit is OK. There is an explanation for this long adjustment time. Every thermometer needs time to display the right temperature especially when it is moved. For the GEOS 11 this time can be longer because the sensor is in a protective hole which is inside the metal case. The time for temperature adjustment can thus be reduced if the GEOS 11 is ventilated. Outside you will often find your GEOS adjusts quicker to the current temperature as there is lots of ventilation. However inside a house there is less to no air flow which will mean the GEOS takes longer to read an accurate temperature.  |
