 | Check the batteries in the sensor. Battery life and power will be significantly affected by periods of freezing weather. Check that the main unit and the sensors are both transmitting on the same frequency ie 433 mhz or 418mhz If the batteries are ok place the sensor and the main unit together and reset both units at the same time. (you will have to unscrew the back of the sensor to find the reset hole) leave for about 15 mins to check if the main unit picks up the signal from the sensor. Gradually move the sensor back to its outdoor position. Stopping at stages to check the signal is still being picked up. A variety of other devices using the same frequency can interfere with reception. Also certain reflective insulation in walls and double glazing in windows can also interfere. Try the unit and sensor in a completely different location. |
