| The first thing to check is the battery within the ISS and any repeaters present as significant time without a wireless link can cause the batteries to drain as the units search for a signal link. Once batteries are checked and, if necessary, replaced then enter the set-up screen by holding down DONE and pressing the '-' arrow key. The console should now display 'Receiving from...' along the bottom of the screen. Allow the console a couple if minutes to scan for transmitting stations, if a station is found, its id number (1-8) will be illuminated on the display (the default id is station 1) also an 'X' will flash in the lower right hand corner of the screen. If the station is not after a few minutes you should: -Adjust the console and ISS/Repeater antennas so that they are in line of sight with each other. -Adjust the antennas so that they are facing each other and parallel. -Try moving the console closer to the weather station. Carry the console around with you to, stopping for a moment in various locations, while you do so, look for the 'X' in the lower right corner to appear. -Try changing the station ID so another number (please refer to the manual). If the weather station still fails to establish a connection please email us as there may be fault present within the ISS. |
