| | Wind direction is indicated within a double LED circle of 36 LED's for respectively average direction and variation. Inside the circles a three digit numerical display indicates the wind speed. A second three digit display located in the lower right corner of the display provides maximum and minimum wind speed. The wind information can be displayed in m/s, Knots, km/h, mph or beaufort. The display can be set to measure 2 minute and 10 minute averaging intervals.
Three LED's notify the user when the average direction is above 60 degrees, when average speed is above 10 knots and if a sensor is malfunctioning. The unit can read 4 wind sensors, the sensor location is indicated by means of runway headings.
Many in-and output connections are available either as standard or as options. Wind information can be displayed in m/s, km/h, mph or beaufort. The display can be set to measure 2 minute, 10 minute and every other user averaging intervals. | |
