RS-50 Ultra-Sonic Research Anemometer

Based on the highly successful range of Solent Research Anemometers, the R3-50 is ideal for users undertaking research with large eddies at high mast levels. Having identical output formats to the R3, the R3-50 is particularly suited to applications where a complete wind profile is required. Robust and easy to use, the R3-50 employs the same software as the popular R3 range of sensors but with a data rate of 50 Hz.

RS-100 Ultra-Sonic Research Anemometer

The R3-100 has a faster response time, up to 100Hz, and operating system, RCOM, designed to be robust and simpler to use. The resolution of the analogue outputs has been greatly improved to 14bits whilst the high accurancy and measurement resolution of the solent research has been maintained.

RSA-100 Ultra-Sonic Research Anemometer with Asymmetric Head

The R3A-100 combines the latest electronic components with Gill Instrument Ltd's considerable experience in producing solid state ultrasonic anemometers for micrometeorological research.
The asymmetric head allows for more accurate measurement of horizontal flows with minimum interurption in the prevailing wind of flow direction.
