New to the ClimeMET range is our premium-quality 1015 Professional Copper Rain Gauge consisting of a copper funnel and calibrated plastic measure.

The rain falls through a defined aperture and into the inner plastic measure; the contents are then measured, normally once a day. Any additional rainfall collected in the large copper body of the rain gauge can be measured by pouring into the supplied measuring jar.

The unit is made from stout copper sheet with soldered seams, and the solid flat base provides good stability for ground mounting. It has a polished brass rim on the funnel (123mm in diameter) and is supplied with a calibrated plastic measure.

Copper rain gauges are universally used by meteorologists, academics and in commercial applications.

Please note, copper rain gauge does not have gold band around top of funnel.
