Exciting Developments for Weather Enthusiasts
The School has recently invested in a new automated weather system which include the Davis Vantage Pro2. This exciting piece of equipment has brought weather to life in Geography and Science lessons. Pupils have been able to check the school website, which provides a continual upload of weather data from the Weather Station, transmitted through a wireless connector.
Bethany has also included a subscription to our unique ClimeMET Interactive Learning Platform which provides a suite of weather data alongside a range of learning and tutorial tools for each Key Stage in the curriculum.
Key Benefits
The Davis Vantage Pro2 Station captures a wealth of data including:
> Indoor & Outdoor Temperature
> Wind Speed
> Wind Direction
> Rainfall
> Barometric pressure
> Humidity
> 5 Day Forecast
For weather enthusiasts, there are graphs and charts which detail the various weather elements such as wind speed, wind direction and temperature over 24 hours to 31 days.
